2006 saw 6 rounds again this year of racing, that took in three rounds at Calder Park and three rounds at Winton Raceway with AASA. This was the third year with the new class structure. It has appeared to have worked really well, though the lack of A class cars was a little disappointing. The Championship saw heat at Winton, rain at Calder.
